Artist Ana Rugani merges nature, humanity, the physical and abstract into creative expression with a signature style.  While her medium shifts in rhythm with the seasons, a continuity remains across her primary disciplines: sculpture, woodcarving, fiber art, drawing and painting.  Incorporating foraged and hand crafted applications into her repertoire unites these rhythms in unexpected ways and furthers her romance with nature.  

A homestead life along the Columbia River Gorge nourishes her belief that life and art endlessly influence one another.  Ana explores humanness and finds artistic purpose by communing with nature and weaving a variety of elements into art.
