BE·SPOKE | \bəˈspōk \ | adj. : commissioned to a particular specification; made for or to fit a particular person; custom made.

Jewelry is one of the most intimate items we own. It is literally attached to you; whether it be a piece you wear every day, or only on special occasions, it elicits a feeling. Perhaps it's reminiscent of a special person. Maybe it holds the memory of a place or experience, or it is something you wear to honor your own intrinsic power. It could simply be that pair of studs you wear every day that have become as familiar to your head as your eyebrows. Ultimately, it is an outward expression of an internal dialog. Bespoke designs allow a dynamic collaboration to bring concepts into a tangible world: it brings us together, and it allows you to impart your individuality. You become a part of a design process which will build a piece worthy of adding to your collection.

I also value the importance of generational jewelry and redesigns. A piece once worn and cherished; a thing passed down with love carrying so much meaning. Let's transform the original into something that will be worn, as opposed to laying homage in a drawer. We can utilize components and embrace a new individuality. The love an heirlooom contains will exponentially expand.

Lastly, sourcing and studio practices are dedicated to responsible sustainability. Diamonds + gemstones are carefully sourced from my trusted, responsible dealers. Metals are purchased both through fair trade initiatives and through the refinery from which I sell scrap. This is one way I’ve found to close the loop on manufacturing. This brings me back to that jewelry you may have sitting in the back of the drawer tarnishing. Using those heirloom components means new stones are not being mined, and metals get refined + reused. Again, closing a loop in manufacturing.

If you are interested in doing a new design or redesign please get in touch; I’d love to work with you.

Let's create something beautiful together.

CONSULTATION
Let's get to know each other! Through our initial consultation we will spend some time putting together a general idea of style and design direction.
I will clarify any questions about process, as well as questions about metals and stones. This first step is geared toward education, as well as providing an opportunity to truly decide if I am who you want to work with to design a piece you've been dreaming of.
DESIGN
Through the design + planning phase we will work together to narrow the specs of your bespoke piece.  We will hone your design via phone/in person chats, email, mood boards, etc.  Once we’ve come to something you love, I will send a proposal with detailed drawings and an estimate.
FABRICATE
Your piece may be designed in CAD, hand carved in wax, fabricated or a combination of these practices. Utilizing traditional metalsmithing practices along with modern technology allows a truly sustainable heirloom design to unfold. After casting and/or fabrication, the intricate process of stone setting and final finishing is done with the utmost attentions to detail.  This attention to detail allows the craftsmanship put in through the manufacturing process to fully come alive.
DELIVERY + FOLLOW UP
Upon completion + paid final invoice,  your piece will be shipped [fully insured] or ready to pick up in the studio as per your request. General care + cleaning instructions will be provided + checkups for in house cleanings + maintenance are included [+ recommended!].
